LOOKHOME GREEN DESIGN AWARDS 2010 — VOTER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Entries in The LookHome™ Green Design Awards open at 9.00am AEST on 1 February 2010 and close at 5pm AEST on 9 July 2010.
  2. Visitors to the www.LookHome™.com.au website who register with a valid email address may vote for which of the projects entered in each of the five categories for The LookHome™ Green Design Awards they consider should win the Popular Choice Award for each category.
  3. Votes must be made online at www.LookHome™.com.au between 9.00amAEST on 1 February 2010 and 5pm AEST on 9 July 2010.
  4. Employees, and their immediate families, of LookHome™ Magazine and James Hardie® and their providers and agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to vote or participate in this competition.
  5. There is no limit to the total number of votes that a person may cast towards the Popular Choice Awards other than that no person is permitted to cast more than one vote for the Popular Choice Award in each award category per day.
  6. Entrants in The LookHome™ Green Design Awards may vote for their own entry or entries in the Popular Choice Awards subject to the limitation of one vote per category per day.
  7. The voter whose votes in the Popular Choice Awards most closely match the projects chosen by the expert panel of judges as the winning entries in each of the LookHome™ Green Design Award categories will win the Savviest Voter Prize being one of the LookHome™ member prizes in this competition.
  8. If more than one person votes for all five winning entries as chosen by the experts in the Look Home Green Design Awards, the person out of those who cast the highest number of votes for the Peoples' Choice Awards will win the Savviest Voter Prize.
  9. If no one votes for all five of the winners chosen by the experts in the Look Home Green Design Awards, the Savviest Voter Prize will go to the person who cast the most votes for the next most of the winning projects chosen by the experts in the Look Home Green Design Awards. If more than one person votes for the same number of the winning projects chosen by the experts in the Look Home Green Design Awards, the person out of those who cast the highest number of votes in the Popular Choice Awards will win the Savviest Voter Prize.
  10. Separate to the Savviest Voter Prize, the voter who casts the most number of votes in the Popular Choice Awards will also win one of the LookHome™ member prizes in this competition.
  11. Each LookHome™ Member prize consists of:
    1. Scyon™ products to the value of $4,000 (and one delivery of those products to one address within 100km of a distributor of James Hardie® products); and
    2. a Universal VISA Gift Card pre-loaded with $1,000. This Gift Card is not redeemable for cash and is subject to the terms and conditions of Universal VISA Gift Cards. Universal VISA Gift Cards are issued by Heritage Building Society Ltd ABN32 087 652 024 AFS licence 240 984.
  12. The Scyon™ products included as part of a LookHome™ Member prize must be used in connection with a construction project in Australia and must be taken up no later than 30 March 2011 unless otherwise agreed in writing by James Hardie®.
  13. The winners of the LookHome™ Member Prizes will be notified by email by 6 August 2010 and announced on www.LookHome™.com.au on 27 September 2010 and in the LookHome™ Design Annual available in October 2010.
  14. If any prize or part thereof is unavailable for any reason, James Hardie® reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value at its discretion.
  15. Prizes must be taken as offered and are not redeemable for cash. Prizes are not transferable.
  16. LookHome™ Member Prize winners must contact James Hardie® confirming their acceptance of their prize by 31 August 2010. James Hardie® will make reasonable efforts to contact the prize winners within this period. If James Hardie® has not been contacted or been able to contact a prize winner by 31 August 2010 to confirm the prize winner's intention to take up a prize, James Hardie® may, in its absolute discretion, chose to award the unclaimed prize to the next placed entrant in which case, the original winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
  17. If a Prize winner, having confirmed their intention to take up the prize, does not take up a prize for any reason by the required date, all rights to the prize are forfeited.
  18. Entrants consent to LookHome™ magazine and James Hardie® publishing details of all winners and providing such details to other architectural magazines, newspapers and relevant media Australia wide.
  19. Incomplete or incomprehensible votes will be deemed invalid. LookHome™ and James Hardie® exclude all liability and responsibility for lost, late, misrecorded or misdirected votes or for a voter's inability for any reason to register votes before the closing date whether due to technical problems with the LookHome™ website or otherwise.
  20. James Hardie®'s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  21. James Hardie® may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this competition including these terms and conditions for any reason whatsoever at its discretion without any liability to any party.
  22. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of James Hardie® which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, James Hardie® reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
  23. James Hardie® reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who James Hardie® believes, in its sole discretion, tampers with the entry process or who otherwise corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition.
  24. James Hardie® and its related bodies corporate and their officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition or the use of any prize, except for and to the extent of any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  25. Winners of prizes are responsible for any tax implications associated with accepting the prize and should consider obtaining financial advice.
  26. All entries become the property of James Hardie®. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that James Hardie® may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
  27.
